LearnForWork UK – Terms and Conditions
LearnForWork UK – Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern enrolment in the LearnForWork UK Online Coding Course (“the Course”). By submitting an application, the applicant (“the Student”) agrees to abide fully by the provisions herein. While we may speak of code, logic, and innovation, the following rules are delightfully analogue in their seriousness.
2. Application and Preselection
2.1 All prospective Students must complete the official application form and undertake the mandatory entry test.
2.2 Recruitment is strictly subject to the outcome of this preselection process. Only applicants who achieve the required standard on the entry test will be considered for enrolment.
2.3 Places on the Course are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As such, prompt action is strongly advised for any soul who wishes to join the digital pilgrimage.
3. Notification of Acceptance
3.1 Successful applicants will receive confirmation of their acceptance by email.
3.2 Applicants who do not receive such confirmation should assume that, on this occasion, the coding gods have favoured another. Nevertheless, they remain welcome to apply again for future cohorts.
4. Fees and Payment Structure
4.1 Students may choose between the available payment options, which will be displayed at the point of application.
4.2 Applicants who elect to make a one-off full payment are exempt from the application fee.
4.3 Applicants selecting an instalment plan or alternative payment arrangement are required to pay the application fee in full before their enrolment can be finalised.
4.4 All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated under UK consumer protection law.
5. Commitment to Attendance
5.1 By submitting an application, all Students agree to attend all scheduled classes for the duration of the Course.
5.2 Persistent absence, unexplained truancy, or mysterious disappearances into the void may result in removal from the Course without refund.
5.3 Students are expected to maintain professional conduct in virtual sessions, even if their cat insists on walking across the keyboard.
6. Course Delivery
6.1 The Course is delivered online via LearnForWork UK’s designated learning platforms.
6.2 LearnForWork UK reserves the right to modify session times, trainers, or technical tools where necessary, though always with due regard for the Students’ learning experience.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 LearnForWork UK shall not be held liable for losses arising from technical issues, internet failures, or the occasional misbehaving device—though we sympathise deeply with anyone whose laptop chooses mischief over obedience.
7.2 Students are responsible for ensuring they possess adequate equipment and internet access to participate fully.
8. Data Protection
8.1 Personal information submitted during application and study will be handled in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
8.2 Student data will be used solely for recruitment, administration, and educational delivery.
9. Amendments
9.1 LearnForWork UK may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
9.2 Students will be notified of any substantial modifications.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
